AI-Powered Features

Whathead includes AI-powered features that assist with campaign creation and optimization. AI content is writing ad copy by AI: you select ads, choose platform (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat), language (e.g. English or Arabic), and tone; the system generates headlines, primary text, and CTAs. You review variations and apply them to the selected ads. In addition, you can use AI for targeting suggestions and for generating copy from images.
What you’ll learn:
  • AI targeting suggestions for audience recommendations
  • AI image analysis for content generation
  • AI lead form generation
  • When to use AI features in your workflow

AI Targeting Suggestions

AI targeting suggestions help you identify relevant audiences for your campaigns based on your campaign goals and product information.

How It Works

When creating or editing ad sets, you can use AI to generate targeting recommendations including: Audience suggestions:
  • Interest targeting recommendations
  • Demographic suggestions
  • Location recommendations
  • Custom audience ideas
Platform-specific targeting:
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) targeting options
  • TikTok audience recommendations
  • Snapchat targeting suggestions
AI targeting suggestions are tailored to each platform’s available targeting options and best practices.

AI suggestions are starting points. You should review and refine them based on your specific campaign goals and audience knowledge.

AI Content: Writing Ad Copy by AI

You select one or more ad nodes on the canvas, open the AI content flow, and choose platform (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat), language (e.g. English, Arabic), and tone. The AI then generates ad copy (headlines, primary text, CTAs) for those ads. You get multiple variations per ad, can edit any variation, and apply the chosen variation so it appears in the ad node and in the ad editor. This is writing content for your ads via AI, not just analysis.

AI Image Analysis and Content Generation

AI can also generate ad copy from your creative assets. The system analyzes product images and suggests relevant ad copy (headlines, descriptions) that matches the visual.

What AI Can Analyze

Image content:
  • Product identification
  • Visual elements and composition
  • Key features visible in the image
  • Style and aesthetic
Content generation:
  • Ad copy suggestions based on image content
  • Headline variations
  • Description text
  • Platform-specific copy adaptations
AI-generated content is most effective when you provide high-quality product images with clear visual elements.

Using AI Image Analysis

When creating ads with images, AI can analyze the creative assets and suggest relevant ad copy that matches the visual content. This helps ensure your copy and creative work together effectively. Use cases:
  • Generating initial ad copy from product images
  • Creating multiple copy variations for A/B testing
  • Adapting copy for different platforms
  • Ensuring copy-creative alignment
AI-generated content should be reviewed and edited to match your brand voice and messaging guidelines. Use AI suggestions as a starting point, not final copy.

AI Lead Form Generation

For campaigns using lead generation objectives, AI can help generate lead form questions and structure based on your campaign goals.

Lead Form Assistance

What AI can help with:
  • Suggesting relevant form fields
  • Generating question text
  • Recommending form structure
  • Platform-specific form optimization
Platforms supported:
  • Meta lead forms
  • TikTok lead generation

AI lead form suggestions follow platform best practices for lead generation campaigns.

AI Feature Best Practices

Review and refine: Always review AI-generated suggestions before using them. AI provides starting points, but you know your brand and audience best.
Test AI suggestions: When AI suggests targeting or copy, consider A/B testing against your original approach to validate effectiveness.
Combine with expertise: Use AI to augment your expertise, not replace it. AI can suggest options you might not have considered, but your strategic judgment is essential.
Platform-specific optimization: AI adapts suggestions to each platform’s requirements and best practices. Pay attention to platform-specific recommendations.
Iterate: If initial AI suggestions don’t fit your needs, try providing more context or different inputs to get better results.

Understanding AI Limitations

AI features in Whathead have specific capabilities and limitations you should understand.

What AI Can Do Well

Pattern recognition: AI identifies patterns from data and applies best practices to your campaigns. Suggestion generation: AI generates multiple options for targeting, copy, and structure based on your inputs. Platform adaptation: AI understands platform-specific requirements and adapts suggestions accordingly.

What AI Cannot Do

Strategic decisions: AI doesn’t know your business strategy, competitive positioning, or brand guidelines. You must ensure suggestions align with your strategy. Brand voice: AI cannot replicate your specific brand voice and tone. You must review and adjust copy to match your brand. Audience-specific nuances: AI provides general best practices but may not understand your specific audience’s preferences and culture. Performance guarantees: AI suggestions are based on patterns and best practices, but cannot guarantee campaign performance.
AI suggestions are guidance based on general patterns. They may not always fit your specific brand, audience, or campaign goals. Use your expertise to evaluate suggestions.

When to Override AI Suggestions

Brand voice: If AI suggests copy that doesn’t match your brand voice, keep your original approach. Brand consistency is more important than generic optimization. Audience knowledge: If you know your audience responds differently than AI suggests, trust your data. Your audience-specific knowledge is more valuable than general patterns. Strategic positioning: If AI suggests approaches that don’t align with your strategy, stick with your strategic direction.
