Connecting your ad accounts lets you create campaigns, use your existing creatives, and publish to the platform — all from Whathead. This page explains how to link each platform and what data Whathead can use after you connect.

What you need
  • A Meta Business account
  • Admin access to the ad account (or Business Manager) you want to connect
1

In the sidebar, click Integrations.
2

After you approve, you’re sent back. Your connection is ready to use.
What we fetch after you connect
  • Ad accounts — So you can choose which account to use when creating or publishing campaigns
  • Pages — So you can run ads linked to your Facebook Pages
  • Instagram profiles — So you can run ads on Instagram
  • Pixels — So you can optimize for conversions and track events
  • Mobile apps — So you can run app install or app engagement campaigns
  • Custom conversions — So you can use your existing conversion setup
You need at least Ad Account Admin or Business Manager access. Ask your team admin to grant you access or to connect the account for the team.
Yes. Connect each account once; they’ll all appear when you manage Meta. Choose the account you want when you create or publish a campaign.
Open Integrations → click Manage next to Meta → use the tabs (Ad Accounts, Pages, Instagram, Pixels, etc.) to see what’s available. Turn on any asset you want Whathead to use. If something is missing, check that it’s available in your Meta Business Manager and that your connection has the right permissions, then use Refresh in the drawer to pull the latest list.
Whathead needs permission to manage your ad campaigns, read your ad account and assets (Pages, Pixels, etc.), and publish ads on your behalf. We only request the minimum needed for those tasks.

Managing your connections

After you connect, each platform shows as Connected and you’ll see counts for the assets we’ve pulled (e.g. Ad Accounts, Pixels). Click Manage to open the asset drawer: you can see and choose which ad accounts, pages, pixels, and other assets Whathead is allowed to use. Use Refresh to fetch the latest list from the platform.

Reconnecting an account

If your connection expires or you need to reconnect, open Integrations, find the platform, and use the reconnect option (or disconnect and connect again). You’ll sign in with the platform and approve permissions again. Once done, your account is linked and ready to use.
