This page summarizes what you can do with Meta in Whathead — from creating campaigns to editing existing ones and reusing creatives.

Create new campaigns

  • Campaign — Choose objective (Awareness, Traffic, Engagement, Leads, App Promotion, Sales), set budget and bid strategy, and optionally set special ad category.
  • Ad set — Set audience (targeting), placements, schedule, budget, and optimization goal.
  • Ad — Choose format (single image/video, carousel, etc.), add copy, headline, CTA, and creative (image or video).
You build the structure on the canvas (campaign → ad set → ad), then Publish to send it to your connected Meta ad account.

Edit existing campaigns

  • In the Campaign Builder, when you add a campaign, ad set, or ad, you can choose Select Existing instead of creating new.
  • Pick the connected ad account, then search or filter to find the campaign, ad set, or ad. Selecting it loads its current settings into the form.
  • You can change only the fields Meta allows to be edited (e.g. name, budget, status, schedule). Fields like objective or campaign type stay locked. Save to update the node on the canvas; Publish to push changes to Meta.

Sync targeting

  • In the ad set modal, use Sync Targeting to copy this ad set’s audience and placement settings to other ad sets in the same campaign. You choose scope (targeting only, or all settings) and which ad sets to update.

Use the media library

  • When editing an ad, you can open the media library to browse images and videos already on your Meta account, or upload new ones. Selected creatives are attached to the ad. See Assets for more.

Cross-transfer

  • You can copy a campaign from Snapchat to Meta (or Meta to Snapchat) via Cross-Transfer. The structure is mapped to the canvas so you can review and edit before publishing. Story-style creatives can be used for Instagram Stories and Reels.

Special ad categories

  • If your campaign falls under Credit, Employment, Housing, or Social Issues/Elections/Politics, you can set that at the campaign level. Meta will restrict some targeting options as required by their policies.
