Snapchat-Specific Considerations
Ad Updates
Snapchat supports updating existing ads, including creative changes. When you modify an ad’s creative, copy, or other properties, Whathead updates the existing ad via Snapchat’s API. The same ad ID is preserved, and changes are reflected immediately in Snapchat Ads Manager. Learn more in Snapchat Publishing.
Media Library Access
Snapchat’s media library works differently from other platforms:- Assets are organized by ad account
- Video assets must meet Snapchat’s vertical format requirements (9:16 recommended)
- Snapchat supports Media Copy API for eligible assets, which can speed up creative migration
